Mitsubishi Electric Introduces the Comfort App Replacing kumo Cloud

Mitsubishi Electric Introduces the Comfort App

Comfort App
Mitsubishi Electric continues to evolve its smart HVAC ecosystem with the introduction of the Mitsubishi Electric Comfort App, a modern platform designed to simplify how users monitor and control their heating and cooling systems. The new app builds on the foundation established by the kumo cloud, offering a cleaner interface, improved navigation, and a more streamlined setup experience for both homeowners and installers.

The Comfort App focuses on enhancing everyday usability, making it easier to manage multiple indoor units, adjust temperature settings, and monitor system status from a single platform. While the overall control capabilities remain familiar, the updated design and improved backend performance provide a smoother and more responsive user experience.

Importantly, Mitsubishi has maintained compatibility with existing wireless interfaces such as the PAC-USWHS002-WF-1 and PAC-USWHS002-WF-2, allowing many users to transition without replacing their hardware. However, older interfaces like the PAC-WHS01WF-E are not supported on the new platform, and systems using them will require an upgrade to access the Comfort App.

Alert
Please note that, like the kumo cloud® platform, the Comfort App requires a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network for setup and operation. Connections on 5 GHz networks are not supported, so ensure your router is configured accordingly before beginning.
