Wi-Fi Adapters or Modules used in HVAC Indoor Units Control
Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems are relied upon to keep the home homely no matter how extreme the weather gets. With new smart HVAC systems, homeowners have the power to manage the units from any place virtually through a secure internet connection with the help of their mobile phone or tablet. This can help reduce energy wastage and thus save money in cases where one may have left the air conditioner running when they have left home. Different brands have different interfaces that connect the indoor unit to the Wi-Fi networks or facilitate internet connection for remote operations over the phone or tablet. To do this, some even involve the use of mobile applications. Different brands support a variety of indoor units.
Mitsubishi Electric
Mitsubishi Electric Trane flagship of Wireless Interfaces include PAC-WHS01WF-E, PAC-USWHS002-WF-1, and PAC-USWHS002-WF-2. These allow compatible indoor units to be controlled and monitored through wireless or a local network via the Kumo Cloud app available through: the Apple App Store, Google Playstore, or the Amazon Appstore (for iOS, Android & Amazon Fire OS). PAC-USWHS002-WF-1 and PAC-USWHS002-WF-2 also work with Google Assistant & Amazon Alexa. The Wireless Interfaces require a wireless router and compatible software platforms with the Kumo Cloud App (iOS 8.0 or later, Android 4.1 or later, Fire OS 4.1 or later). Supports Radio protocol: IEEE 802.11b/g/n (2.4 GHz) only.

Fujitsu
Fujitsu General also has the FJ-RC-WIFI-1NA Wi-Fi Module that connects indoor units to the Wi-Fi network to manage the indoor climate remotely, using a simple smartphone, tablet, or PC via the internet. This also offers interaction with Geo-localization, weather forecast, voiceover, Mail, Push Notifications, and voice commands. Fujitsu Halycon line has an FJ-IR-WIFI-1NA IR WI-FI interface that works in the same manner as the FJ-RC-WIFI-1NA Wi-Fi Module. Fujitsu also has UTY-TFNXZ2 Wi-Fi Interface Module which allows remote cloud control and monitoring through the free FGLair App.
Gree
Gree has WSBEC02 which is a universal Wi-Fi Kit that offers control from smartphones via Gree's easy to use App for GREE Livo+ and Vireo+ except for LIVS09HP115V1. Gree WSBEE03 provides control for Livo LIVS09115VHP1B. Both operate in the 2.4 GHz frequency band.
LG
PWFMDD200 Wi-Fi Module by LG provides control via LG Smart AC App available for free download from the Apple App Store and Google Play store.
Venstar
Venstar's ACC-VWF1 Wi-Fi Module provides an interface for Voyager Thermostats through Skyport apps for iOs, Android, and Blackberry. Venstar Configurator app is required to set up a Wi-Fi module to local router/AP. This works with 802.11 b/g/n wireless standards.
Samsung
Samsung's MIM-H03UN Wi-Fi Adapter allows remote control via Samsung Smart Home and SmartThings app for DVM S and CAC Systems. It works with 802.11 b/g/n wireless standards. MIM-H04UN imitates the functionality of the MIM-H03UN interface.
