In this article we are discussing how to configure VPNs for internet connection.
A virtual private network (VPN) creates a safe connection between an internet user and the internet. When turned on, all data traffic is passed through an encrypted virtual tunnel, hiding one's IP address so that no one can see where it is. Additionally, a VPN connection is safe from outside threats. Because you are the only one with the key, no one else can access the data in the encrypted tunnel. Using VPN allows you to can access regionally prohibited/geolocked content and websites from any location in the world. Some countries do not have access to all streaming services but with VPN, you can still access them.

Importance of VPN
- Boosting data privacy on public network
- Streaming of restricted content from virtually anywhere e.g Hulu, Netflix
- Prevention of ISP and third-party data tracking
- Avoidance of slow internet by preventing ISP throttling
- Improved network security
- Bypass of internet censorship in restricted countries
- Secure encrypted file transfer
