Trane Home App
The Trane Home App enables home owners to monitor and control connected Trane air conditioners and smart home components from anywhere in the world. Some of home automation application components include lights, cameras, garage doors, locks and switches. It was previously the Nexia app and the functionalities are the same.
Trane Home is available for download and use from App Store (Used also on iPad), Windows Apps and Google Play.
You can log in to control your smart home elements through web portal here, https://www.tranehome.com/login. It is different from Nexia's portal. The other difference is on the logo which is now Trane's red in color.
Features of Trane Home Include:
- Controls Schlage keypad locks and other connected Z-Wave devices. Here is a complete list of Certified and Compatible products.
- Can be connected with Alexa and Google home to offer voice control. Here is how to do so for Google Home and Alexa.
- With approval of remote access to your system, dealers can remotely evaluate your system's operation and consumption
- Streaming and recording video in real-time using a live camera.More information on the Trane
- Control and monitoring of HVAC systems from virtually anywhere
- Users can get alerts and notifications about system issues and filter replacement and maintenance reminders
- Temporary codes can be set for secure and convenient entry of guests
