Digital Loggers LPC9 Pro Web Power Switch and Control Unit Operations
The Digital Loggers LPC Pro Switch is a network-enabled
power switch that allows you to remotely control the power to your devices. Using
a simple web interface (accessible from any browser), it allows you to AutoPing
and reboot connected devices without user intervention.
LPC PRO Web Power Switch Here are the basic steps to operate the LPC Pro Switch:
- Connect the LPC Pro Switch to your network: Connect the switch to your network using an Ethernet
cable/Wi-Fi and configure the switch with an IP address.
- Connect your devices to the switch: Connect the devices you want to control to the
switch's outlets. The LPC Pro Switch can control up to 8 outlets remotely.
It also has 2 additional outlets which are un-switched and always on.
- Access the switch's web interface: Open a web browser and enter the IP address of the
LPC Pro Switch. This will take you to the switch's web interface. The
default IP address is 192.168.0.100. You can log in using the default
username (admin) and password (1234).
The following procedure will only allow you to control the Power Switch from within your local network. A detailed article on how to control the switch from an external network (web access from anywhere) can be found here.

- Configure the outlets:
In the web interface, you can configure the settings for each outlet,
including the name of the device, the ON/OFF schedule, and whether the
outlet should be power cycled if the device stops responding.
- Control the outlets:
Once you have configured the outlets, you can use the web interface to
turn them on and off, either individually or as a group. You can use the
web interface to control individual outlets or groups of outlets, or you
can use the Digital Loggers Android or iOS app to control the switch from
your mobile device.
- Monitor the status of the outlets: The web interface also displays the current status of
each outlet, so you can see which devices are currently on or off. The LPC
Pro Switch can also monitor power usage for individual outlets and report
back to the web interface. You can use this feature to track how much
energy your devices are using and to identify energy-hogging
devices.
On its own, the power switch isn't very smart. You can add custom functionality using the built-in simple Lua scripting language with zero programming experience required. Here is how the web interface will look like when you want to enter code to perform specific added functions:

or office environment.
