Cell Tower Information Guide
Usually, UE, user equipment, like phones have the capability to show the RSRP values which can indicate the kind of signal strength one is receiving as well. One can also get the band of operation on that location.
See instructions below to get this value on iOS and Android OS phones.
iPhone:
On your iPhone, follow the steps below. Be sure to turn off your Wi-Fi for this exercise.
Android:
You can download the LTE Discovery App and check the information below. (You could also use Network Cell Info Lite)
For guidance, you can also use cellmapper.net to check the direction of a tower and other cell information. With this, select the mobile network operator (MNO) and your location on the left panel and check the towers that are around your location.
