Looking at the different options for miniature SMA connectors available, I can see we have gold and silver variants. This is with regards to construction. My reading shows that the contacts can be made of either nickel or gold, I've also seen beryllium mentioned. Is there a specific requirement that would make me use one over the other? or any other options available.

My application will be at frequencies greater than 6GHz.
