We have reworked our network to have the Cisco Catalyst 2960S-24PD Layer 2 - Gigabit Ethernet Switch, with 24 POE ports. This switch will offer data and power connection to different Wi-Fi access points and IP phones. The switch is connected to a reliable backup power supply. I want to extend this backup capability to a secondary store with no access to the UPS by getting a different 4 or 8 port POE powered switch, to feed off power from the Catalyst switch and supply the same to 2 VoIP phones and 2 IP cameras. Any recommendations? A managed switch would be preferrable, but different options are welcome.
